Documentation & Safety
This is a professionally manufactured fragrance system built for repeated, nightly use in enclosed living spaces. Because it is used every night, close to your breathing space, it is held to a higher standard than typical home fragrance requires.
Every connection is supported by
- IFRA Certificate (51st Amendment, Category 12)
- Safety Data Sheet (SDS / MSDS)
- Certificate of Analysis (COA): batch-level quality verification
- Full allergen declaration (INCI format)
- Batch traceability records from production
These documents confirm formulation safety, ingredient compliance, and consistent manufacturing across every batch. Not tested on animals at any stage.

The four connections — allergen declarations
How to use it safely
- Designed exclusively for use with the Night Night cold-mist diffuser. Do not use for any other purpose.
- Not for skin contact or ingestion. For ambient diffusion only. Do not inhale directly from the bottle.
- Always use in a normally ventilated room. A slightly open door or window is sufficient.
- Keep away from heat, open flame, and ignition sources. The concentrate is a combustible liquid.
- Do not use if the bottle seal is damaged.
- May cause an allergic skin reaction in sensitive individuals. Discontinue use if any adverse reaction occurs.
Room size and settings
The diffuser is rated for spaces up to 200m³. A standard bedroom operates well within that range. Use the middle setting as your default. Lower settings extend duration, higher settings suit larger or well-ventilated spaces. If the scent feels strong, reduce the setting or move the diffuser further from the bed.*
*Actual performance varies by room size, ceiling height, airflow, ventilation, and operating settings.
Pets
Cats and birds: do not use in the same room. Cats lack the liver enzyme needed to safely metabolise many fragrance compounds including linalool, limonene, and terpenes. Birds are extremely sensitive to airborne compounds. Do not run the diffuser in any room where a cat or bird is present, regardless of setting.
Dogs: use the lowest setting with ventilation. Monitor for signs of discomfort (restlessness, sneezing, pawing at the face). If any appear, move your dog to another room and discontinue use in that space.
Small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, reptiles): do not use in rooms where they are kept.
Keep all bottles out of reach of pets. If a pet ingests any concentrate, contact a veterinarian immediately. Animal Poisons Helpline (Australia): 1300 869 738
Children
Infants and toddlers (under 3): do not use the diffuser in rooms where they sleep or spend extended time. Children at this age breathe proportionally more air relative to body weight and have developing respiratory systems.
Children 3 and older: use the lowest setting in a ventilated room, not directly adjacent to their sleeping area.
Keep all bottles out of reach at all times. The concentrate is not for ingestion. If swallowed, call the Poisons Information Centre (Australia) immediately: 13 11 26. Do not induce vomiting.
Pregnancy, asthma & sensitive groups
Pregnancy: consult your healthcare provider before use, particularly during the first trimester. If used, apply the lowest setting in a well-ventilated room and limit session duration.
Asthma and respiratory conditions: fragrance compounds may trigger symptoms in individuals with asthma, COPD, or other respiratory sensitivities. Consult your healthcare provider before use. Discontinue immediately if any respiratory discomfort occurs and move to fresh air.
Fragrance sensitivity: if you have a known fragrance allergy, review the allergen declarations on the product label before use and consult your healthcare provider if unsure.

Storage, shelf life & disposal
- Store upright in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and heat sources
- Optimal storage temperature: 10°C to 30°C. Do not refrigerate.
- Keep bottles capped when not in use
- Unopened: stable for 24 months from manufacture. Once opened: use within 12 months.
- The batch number and manufacture date are printed on the base of each bottle
- Do not use if you notice discolouration, cloudiness, or an off-character smell
Disposal
Do not pour unused concentrate down the drain. The compounds are harmful to aquatic life. Dispose of bottles with remaining liquid via your local council's household chemical disposal service. Empty glass bottles are recyclable. Rinse before placing in glass recycling.
